I’ve been doing some quick landscape paintings for fun, and this is one of them. The idea is to be loose and free instead of uptight and fussy, and to take a break from illustration. This homestead scene is from my imagination, but inspired by the way it looks out on the prairie when there are heavy rain clouds looming nearby.
